A leading member of the Food and Allied Group, Indigo Hotels & Resorts was created in 1994 and is the name behind the creation and development of the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, the first 5-star city hotel in Mauritius regarded as a benchmark in the local hospitality industry and a landmark in the capital Port Louis.

Following this success, Indigo Hotels & Resorts opened a second hotel on the prime waterfront location, Le Suffren Hotel & Marina, to satisfy the needs of the modern day business traveller, and will provide comfortable accommodation in the vibrant surroundings of the waterfront.

With the opening of Le Telfair Golf & Spa Resort in December 2004, it is Indigo’s intention to create an exquisite resort that offers something really extraordinary in the highly desirable location of Bel Ombre.

Indigo’s vision is practical, precise and effective methodology by which quality, service and environmental issues are inculcated by everyone from the most senior manager to the most junior levels. It is an on-going process of improvement and has earned our flagship property, the Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel, the ISO 14001 Quality and Environmental Certification, the HACCP certification as well as the distinction of becoming the first business hotel worldwide to be awarded Green Globe status. The Labourdonnais Waterfront Hotel won the highly regarded National Quality Award in 2003.
